When the darkness is overwhelming

Advent hits differently this year. It’s by far my favorite liturgical season (and in general season). I am a Christmas fanatic — I love the lights, decorations, music, cheesy Hallmark movies — I am obsessed with the coziness and happiness of the season. But this year…it’s harder. I’ve been feeling All The Feelings lately. I’ve been overwhelmed by sadness, loneliness, regret, and anxiety.
